Jeff Wallace
Jeff qualified in 1985 and moved into Private Practice in 1988. He has studied extensively in manual therapy and worked within Aberdeen's first Sports Clinic gaining further experience in clinical biomechanics and repetetive strain injuries. He is qualified in Acupuncture and Pilates and is a member of ACPOHE where he has particular interests in ergonomics and occupational health.

Morag Buttle
Morag graduated from Aberdeen in 1992 and she started working in the private sector in 2000 with a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries. This broadened to the dancing population allowing her to fully understand and appreciate the types of movement and strength needed to return to high level dance. Other accreditations include manual therapy, acupuncture and pilates.

Allie Anthony
Allie graduated with her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in Canada in 2015 which gave her a thorough understanding of biomechanics, human kinetics, anatomy and physiology, sports injuries and rehabilitation. She has since gone on to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at The Robert Gordon University graduating in 2020. She is trained in APPI Pilates and is working with Aberdeenshire Rugby Football club taking care of the First Team. Allie holds a strong interest in sport, athlete and outpatient neuro rehabilitation.

Seth Holbrook
Seth graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in the United States in 2014. He then worked as a personal trainer and rehabilitation assistant for an outpatient practice in downtown Chicago for a few years before completing his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at The Robert Gordon University, graduating in 2020. Seth was a competitive swimmer for 15 years, swimming at the collegiate level on an athletic scholarship. He has a strong understanding and interest in weightlifting, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics

Ann Quirk
Ann qualified from Manchester University in 1989. She specialised in musculoskeletal problems in 1995 and has developed a special interest in spines and shoulders. Ann has done extensive postgraduate training to develop her skills including manual therapy, acupuncture and pilates.

Fiona Milne
Fiona qualified in 1978. Having gained experience in Aberdeen and Dundee hospitals became a founding member of Grampian Sports Clinic. She brings a wealth of experience giving her a unique approach to problem solving and complex musculoskeletal presentations. Has Pilates accreditation and is a member of the acupuncture association (AACP).

Christine Adam
Christine completed her MScPT at Robert Gordon University graduating in 2020 and is a qualified Physiotherapist with wide experience in acute care, rehab and MSK settings, in both adults and paediatrics. Christine is also a classically trained dancer and is working as the Physiotherapist for the Gordonians RFC and APPI trained Pilates Instructor

Leigh Fawcett
Leigh graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from The Robert Gordon University in 2007 and then completed a MSc in Exercise Science at Syracuse University, New York. She has 12 years’ experience within the NHS in both acute and rehabilitation settings. More recently, Leigh has completed a MSc in Health Promotion and Public Health and has a particular interest in the benefits of physical activity in the management of long-term conditions. She has completed training in APPI Pilates and uses this training to support individuals and groups.

Leanne Jamieson
Earned a Masters degree in physiotherapy from The Robert Gordon University in 2007 and spent 8 years working in the NHS. Currently taking a break from Physiotherapy practice to focus on Pilates and family life. She has completed the APPI Matwork Certification series and is now a fully certified instructor. Other APPI courses completed include Ante/post-natal Pilates, 3D Standing Pilates, Pilates for Osteoporosis and All the Small Balls

I have been active as a counsellor since 2013. Initially I specialised in Bereavement & Loss counselling as a volunteer with Cruse Bereavement Scotland. Through my private practice and association with One-to-One and Mearns Counselling I am experienced in providing support to both adults and children dealing with a wide spectrum of issues. I hold a diploma in person-centred counselling from Aberdeen University. I am member of BACP and am also registered with the PVG scheme for working with protected adults and children

Alison began practicing yoga in 1996 and over the years attended Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Dynamic yoga classes. In 2018 she completed a one year teacher training course with Classical Yoga School based in Perth. Alison aims to show that yoga is accessible to anyone with a desire to roll out a yoga mat. She is delighted to join the team at the Wallace Practice and to share the benefits that yoga brings to the body, mind and soul

Laura Maclean
Laura graduated in 1990 from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh and has worked for NHS Grampian and as a private practitioner. She has worked at the Wallace Practice since 1998 providing routine podiatry treatment and advice. Her focus is on maintaining and promoting mobility with an interest in lower limb biomechanics and acupuncture.

Chris Meiklejohn
Chris qualified in 2007 and also has a BSc (hons) in Sport & Exercise Science. He worked in the NHS for 12 years in a range of clinical specialties including musculoskeletal and chronic pain management. He moved to Robert Gordon University a year ago and teaches Physiotherapy to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Chris has a keen interest in Sports Physiotherapy and has worked with several sports teams in football and rugby as well as working at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. He has additional postgraduate qualifications in manual therapy and acupuncture.

Hazel Groves
Hazel qualified in 1984 and worked in the NHS for 10 years. She then moved to Newcastle Sports Injuries Clinic and enjoyed her experiences there before moving into private clinics that offered a mixed patient case load of musculoskeletal, sports injuries, occupational health dysfunctions and women’s health. Since 2012 she has undertaken further training in Urinary Stress incontinence, Pelvis Organ Prolapse, Acupuncture for Pregnancy related conditions and Women’s Health (including Menopausal symptoms) and Bladder Pain Syndrome. She enjoys Lumbo-pelvic musculoskeletal dysfunctions; treating them manually and the applying a muscle Imbalance approach to achieving muscular stability and self management.

Viswambharan Kannan
Viswambharan graduated in India in Speech and Language and hearing. After working in India for 2 years he then moved to Kuwait to work with Kuwait Health Ministry as an audiologist for 4 and a half years before moving to Aberdeen at the end of 2005.
Since then Viswambharan has been working in the NHS as an Audologist.
